Aims and Scope
The aim of the journal is to publish quality, original research materials, case reports, reviews and meta-analyses that contribute to science. The target audience is specialists and all scientists working in the field of medicine. The scope of the journal covers medicine.

Turkish Journal of Academic Medicine (TJAM) publishes articles following the double-blind peer-review mechanism to ensure the standards of its publications.T

TJAM is published quarterly (March, August, December) 3 times a year.

Open Access Statement
TJAM is freely available online for anyone. There are no subscription or submission charges. All of our academic journals operate under the Creative Commons Attribution license in International Version 4 (CC BY 4.0). This allows for the reproduction of articles free of charge with the appropriate citation information. All authors accept these as the terms of publication

Revenue sources
The journal has no income sources. It is funded by the " İç Hastalıkları ve Yan Dal Uzmanlık Derneği", which is the owner of the journal.

Basic Publication Rules
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data and the journal is in compliance with the uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). The editorial and publication processes of the journal are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as well.
